Mrs. Funmi Omokhodion

Mrs. Funmilayo O. Omokhodion is a versatile and dedicated professional with 36 years of experience in Technical Operations and Risk Management in the reinsurance industry, primarily with the Africa Reinsurance Corporation. She holds a B.A. in English and Linguistics from the University of Ilorin and an Executive MBA in Insurance from Enugu State University of Technology. She is a Chartered Insurer with both the Chartered Insurance Institute, London, and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.

Mrs. Omokhodion has a strong managerial background with both local and international exposure, demonstrating a consistent track record of successful contributions. Her key achievements include redesigning and marketing new products, improving loss-making portfolios, and expanding the regional client base across Anglophone West Africa. She rose through the ranks at Africa Reinsurance Corporation, holding positions such as Regional Director for the West African Regional Office, Deputy Regional Director, Assistant Regional Director, and Senior Treaty and Facultative Underwriter. She is a member of the Council of the Africa Reinsurance Foundation.
